Let’s just face the facts, getting great looking nails at home without ever having to step foot into a salon is awesome.  Today I’m going to show you how to take a plain coat of nail polish and step it up to seem like a professional did your nails. Begin by selecting two colors of polish from your collection, a main color and a contrasting shade.

Paint all of your nails with the main color and make sure that they are completing dry before moving on.

Once your nails are fully dry apply a section or scotch table across them like so. Press the tape down and make sure that it is sealed tightly.  

 Now take your contrasting shade and paint the area that the tape is not covering.

 Wait for the polish to dry completely, then slowly remove the tape to reveal your awesome nails! Don't forget to finish with a nice thick coat of top coat to complete the look.
